EnefTech has developed and will produce a technology that:

1) improves industrial process efficiency and produces on-site electricity by recovering low temperature waste heat, and

2) provides an integrated way of generating combined heating, cooling and power (for industrial, commercial, or residential sectors) from a wide variety of energy sources for small-scale applications (up to 50 Kwe).

Both activities :

  • generate substantial savings,
  • ensure security of supply,
  • provide back-up power and
  • environmental benefits

EnefTech will serve unmet demand for efficient combined heat and electricity production for small-scale processes, for which technology today is too expensive.

Customers who purchase EnefTech products will be able to:

1) generate on site power from low temperature waste heat recovery within their industrial process, or from exhaust gases or cooling medium of existing power generation units (bottoming cycle application) as well as existing boilers; significant savings are then generated due to an increase of the overall efficiency of the process.

2) generate on site power and heating from burning a variety of fuels (fossils or bio-mass), either fully independently or as grid back-up during outages, or during peak load (peaking price periods), while optionally serving their thermal and/or cooling needs.

3) generate on site power from recovered waste treatment bio-gas (especially water treatment plants and landfills).

4) generate on site power from low cost solar collectors, or low temperature geothermal sources.

The company's main technology is based on Organic Rankine Cycles and on mass-produced components which ensures a high reliability and low initial capital cost.
